EVOLUTION GYM MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

This Membership Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Evolution Gym, located on the Isle of Wight (“Evolution Gym”), and the undersigned member (“the Member”).

1. Membership Terms
• The membership begins on the date of sign-up.
• Direct Debit Memberships: Payment is collected automatically via direct debit or card on a recurring monthly basis.
• Cash Monthly Memberships: Members paying monthly in cash must manually renew their membership within the gym once their current month expires. Gym access will be suspended if payment is not received before the expiry date.

2. Access
• Members (18+) have 24/7 access to the gym, including outside of staffed hours.
• Under-18s are not permitted to use the gym during unmanned hours.
• Access for all under-18 members is restricted to 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday to Friday) and 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
• Entry is permitted only with an active membership and valid access credentials (e.g. key card, QR code, or app entry).

3. Conduct and Safety
• All members must respect gym rules, equipment, staff, and fellow members.
• Equipment must be used correctly, cleaned after use, and returned to its proper place.
• Sharing of access cards, QR codes, or app credentials is strictly prohibited.
o Any member found sharing access will be issued a £80 fine and may face membership termination.
• Evolution Gym is under CCTV surveillance for safety and security. This will be also used to monitor access of Evolution Gym.

4. Noise and Neighbour Consideration
• During unmanned hours, members must:
o Respect our residential neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum.
o Avoid dropping weights or slamming equipment.
o Use rubber mats or deadlift pads when using free weights
• Smashing weights or creating excessive noise may result in immediate membership termination.

5. Termination
• Direct Debit Members: Membership must be cancelled at least 6 days prior to the end of the month to avoid the next billing cycle. This cannot be un done.
o Cancellations can be done by the member themselves via internet banking, by contacting the gym via phone or email, or by speaking to a member of staff.
• Evolution Gym reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships for rule violations without refund.

6. Liability Waiver
• The Member understands that use of the gym involves physical activity and assumes full responsibility for any injuries sustained.
• Evolution Gym is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property.
• If you have any pre-existing health conditions, it is compulsory to be signed off by your doctor before using Evolution Gym.
